October Farmers’ Markets are Thursday, October 3 and Thursday, October 17

The community farmers’ market dates for October are set for Thursday, October 3 and Thursday, October 17 at Wayne Memorial Hospital . Both markets will open at 10 a.m. and close at 4 p.m. It will take place in the parking lot closest to Highway 84/First Street. Vendors present will include Going Green Nursery, Boatright Farms and Debbie Pye. Fresh fruit, vegetables, plants, jams, jellies and preserves will be offered. The event, open to the public, is held to encourage a healthy lifestyle and convenient access to locally grown produce.
