In lieu of Christmas gifts to their physicians, Wayne Memorial Hospital donated $1,000 to the Wayne County Toy Drive this week. Also, the toy drive is looking for volunteers. Anyone interested in volunteering time to the organization should contact Sonya Royal directly at 912.427.3904. The Café at Wayne Memorial is rolling out two new products this month. Gift cards, which never expire, are now available as well as loyalty cards. Gift cards may be purchased in any amount at The Café’s registers and loyalty cards, also available at the registers, are free. Loyalty cards reward customers by loading 10 cents per one dollar spent onto the customer’s card. Once the card balance reaches one dollar, a customer may use it to pay for purchases. The Café at Wayne Memorial is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and is open to the public. Their daily menu phone line, updated by 9 a.m. each day, is (912) 530-3100. The Café won the Taste of Wayne Award at the Wayne County Chamber of Commerce Annual Gala.

WMH Blood Drive Mon 11/5

Elect Life this Monday at Wayne Memorial Hospital ’s Next Blood Drive ; Monday, November 5, 12 to 5 p.m.
Jesup, GA – Vote to elect life in the next blood drive at Wayne Memorial Hospital Monday, November 5 from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. The drive will take place in the Bloodmobile parked outside the cafeteria, to the right of the main hospital building.
Donors will be given refreshments afterward by the Red Cross and a voucher for a free meal complements of the award-winning Café at Wayne Memorial. They will also be entered into a drawing for a $1,000 gift card from the Red Cross.
Appointments are strongly encouraged and the event is open to the public. Those interested may register at redcrossblood.org and enter wmh when prompted for the sponsor code. If unable to register online, donors may call (912) 530-3538 or (912) 530-3539 to sign up.
