Wayne Memorial Hospital named to Chairman’s Circle
of Statewide Hospital Engagement Network
Because of its
accomplishments in the patient safety arena during 2012, Wayne
County and Jesup’s own
Wayne Memorial
Hospital has been named
to the Georgia Hospital Association’s Hospital Engagement Network’s
Chairman’s Circle. The honor is the second highest in network’s
recognition program and places the hospital in the 90th percentile
or above. Only 13 other Georgia
hospitals in the network finished in the Chairman’s Circle.

Elder Retires from Wayne Memorial Hospital
Thursday, May 30 marked Director of OB/Nursery Michelle Elder’s
last day at Wayne Memorial after 33 years of service. Always working in the
nursery area, Elder plans to celebrate her retirement with a cruise to
Belize and Cozumel ,
among other cities. Presenting her with a certificate of recognition during her
retirement reception is Hospital Chief Executive Officer Joe Ierardi.
